Not Meant to Be – Theory of a Deadman

It’s time for a little music. Enjoy :D

It’s never enough to say I’m sorry
It’s never enough to say I care
But I’m caught between what you wanted from me
And knowing that if I give that to you
I might just disappear

Nobody wins when everyone’s losing

It’s like one step forward and two steps back
No matter what I do you’re always mad
And I, I can’t change your mind
I know it’s like trying to turn around on a one way street
I can’t give you what you want
And it’s killing me
And I, I’m starting to see
Maybe we’re not meant to be

It’s never enough to say I love you
No, it’s never enough to say I try
It’s hard to believe
That’s theres no way out for you and me
And it seems to be the story of our life

Nobody wins when everyone’s losing

It’s like one step forward and two steps back
No matter what I do you’re always mad
And I, I can’t change your mind
I know it’s like trying to turn around on a one way street
I can’t give you what you want
And it’s killing me
And I, I’m starting to see
Maybe we’re not meant to be

There’s still time to turn this around
You could building this up instead of tearing it down
But I keep thinking
Maybe it’s too late

It’s like one step forward and two steps back
No matter what I do you’re always mad
And I, I can’t change your mind
I know it’s like trying to turn around on a one way street
I can’t give you what you want
And it’s killing me
And I, I’m starting to see
Maybe we’re not meant to be

It’s like one step forward and two steps back
No matter what I do you’re always mad
And I, baby I’m sorry to see
Maybe we’re not meant to be

Macbook Wheel on The Onion

Apple Introduces Revolutionary New Laptop With No Keyboard

Alright. The Onion Network is a fake news network. There is NO such Apple product coming out.

Note the contradicting commentaries in the video. For example, “just a few hundred clicks away” “it couldn’t be simpler, HUH?” “the computer is virtually unbreakable unless drop or hit.” And also notice the price.

I have already ordered a 40GB Macbook wheel

Daily Products

It’s quite wise to create a list of products that you solely and daily depend on and that it makes your life much easier.

Year 2009: Products that I can’t live without.

Electronic

iPhone 3G – Not the very “iPhone 3G” itself but with the following applications:

  • Calendar – (iPhone Native Application) that is synced to my Macbook’s iCaldenar so then my UCLA class schedule is downloaded and available on my iPhone.
  • Fring – Mobile IM
  • RSS Reader – that keeps me update of currents news.
  • Showtimes – an application for iPhone 3G that allows me to check out nearest theaters information and movie times on the go.
  • Youtube (iPhone Native Application) – then I can listen (watch) to any music on-the-go anytime (of course with the must-have AT&T Wireless plan).
  • Websites

    aimini

for via-web-browser music downloading. Aimini is of sorts like imeem, but it’s limited with much smaller library. However, it’s worth a query search if you want to download a song that you can’t get a hit on or afraid of using P2P-software such as Limewire.

    Dictionary

when I’m blogging, I often am suspecting a word spell or thesaurus (since I’m not a native English speaker). And, Dictionary.com does it well.

    Firefox

my preferred internet browser since I’ve known it.

    Hi5

the number 1 social network for Cambodians.

    Hulu

since I don’t adopt a TV-watching habit, I access most of my favorite TV series via Hulu. [Yes I don't watch TV at all. See how cool am I?]

    imeem

I hear a cool music in my car, memorize the title, and hit it on imeem.

    Meebo

so I can IM in a computer lab or a public computer with internet access.

    Photobucket

storing photo in the cloud for sharing and embedding into my blog, although lately I’ve been using Flickr.

    Techcrunch

    my favorite tech news blog.

    Wikipedia

    endless online knowledge.

    Wordpress

my preferred blogging engine, for the sake of open source and feature-rich.

    Youtube

    where I kill my times.

    Google and it’s products:

  • iGoogle - or Google Personalized Homepage is my favorite web portal.
  • Gmail – I have tried at least thousands, if not several, of email services such as Yahoo, Hotmail, Myway, Mail, and AOL, but when I came to Gmail in 2006, I’m stuck there forever by it’s friendly and simple user interface, organization, features such as labels and filters, and speed. By speed I mean, I have had experience with Hotmail, which took ages to send an attachment and even now in MSN messenger, and Yahoo, which also took ages to send an attachment, but Yahoo Messenger file-sending works quite impressive now, and both services’ (Hotmail and Yahoo Mail) sloppy user interfaces/layouts and loading time.
  • Gmail Draft Folder – I think it is noteworthy since I mostly upload a file into Gmail Draft Folder so that I can access it later. Till now, I still can’t find a web application that does the job fast.
  • Google Groups – for academic purposes such as group projects and team research.
  • Software

    Limewire

needless to say what it does.

    Macintosh Front Row

where I solely use for checking out new theatrical movie trailers, directly from my Macbook.

Warcraft III and the Frozen Throne

that I use to play a custom map, called Dota-Allstars or Defense of the Ancients. The only game I play nowadays.

    [updated]
Oh yeah. For Video IM, right now I’m using Yahoo Messenger. It’s the only option since MSN Messenger Mac Version does not support Video IM, or does it? I would switch to iChat (Mac OS Software) if and if only all my friends switch to using Macbook or iMac. Now that’s sad. Add me to your iChat contact list if you do have it activated at [bunsann@gmail.com].

    Year of 2009

I’m not gonna start with “The Happy New Year thingy is Over.” Instead, school is starting next Monday. Despite the sigh, HOORAY! I’m really looking forward to it, with my favorite subject awaiting for me; C++.

I have to say the last two weeks were (one of) the best days in my life, notwithstanding the extra shivering in car (weather!), which included:

-slept at dawn and woke up while sun setting. (needing to change)

-the best las vegas trip – yeah we went clubbing in The Bank in Bellagio hotel where we were staying. In spite of getting to and from las vegas was terrible, due to road work and accident, the hangover, the-about-zero-degree temperature, the club part and so-called drunk part were awesome. Damn, hangover was nasty.

-the new year countdown party! Approaching the 10-second countdown moment was lame/funny, exciting, and warmed. haha I will be more prepared for this moment next time. And, what do you guys think about the music? My entire responsibility was to get the right music. I downloaded about 60 songs off the limewire that evening  The hottest songs were Just Dance by Lady GaGa, The Way I Are [Remix] by Timberland, Shake It by Metro Station, Let It Rock by Kevin Rudolf, and Right Now (Na Na Na) [official remix] by Akon.

    -The End-

Alright, my new year resolutions are:

    1. time-optimization – minimize the waste of times. I’ll do only things with long-term commitment and educational. Short-term hype and sitting in front of the computer for uneducational purposes were wastes of my time.
    2. ability to maintain my interest in something for a healthy length of time.
    3. college GPA
    4. sleep and wake up like the dorks do
    5. love and respect myself and my words MORE, respectively.
    6. web application project
    7. find a job on campus, and internship during summer. [updated]

All for now, I have to cut my hair, change my car’s oil, wash my car, grocery shopping, and maybe furniture shopping.
