it was okay.. they were not many developer sessions scheduled that i wanted to attend on the day i went. nevertheless, my ambition to start an IT consultant company (in Cambodia) has been re-inspired. lol
i really love the keynote.. i mean the feel; the stage looked so prestigious plus 4 cinema screens for audience sitting on the sides. i think it could be approx. 1,000 people..
well what can i say, i’ve got to go for free for one day instead of having to pay $645/day, plus i also got geeky tees.. lol at the end of the day, they set up a partner expo reception where they serve free food, candies and beers. man, they were like 20 different brand names of beers. i’ve been to many parties, but this one gives me new experience.
Look at the beers in the middle.. lol
Microsoft Surface – touch screen table. REALLY COOL! hah
LA Convention Center
The Blue thingy is Staple center (downtown LA). God, iPhone camera sucks.
My name tag. I think I’m obsessed with (name)tags, hahaha yeah i have kept all the tags i got.
i’m taking 5 classes (4 cs and 1 mgmt class), which accumulate to 19 units.
the class i’m excited about the most is the database system class that will require me to build an online movie database system. i will be learning three new programming languages (sql, php, and java) this quarter
and i gotta admit i like (basic) accounting. lol one of the main reason i do is i can see $ sign everywhere in the textbook.
on the first day of school, 400 concerned students and faculty gathered and protested against cuts (UC budget) and fee hike. it was kinda cool. it happened at all 10 UC campuses. i was about to join the march too but my stomach was too craving.. hahhaha
Howdy! Too soon I’ll be going back to the states. sigh
However, recently I went to a CellCard Sports Fest 2009 party hosted at North Bridge Int’l School. My cousin works there, so I could get in, but as a Supplier. It was quite fun; got to see fake Sumo wrestling and Prom Manh sing ja-pei. LOL
