Blog Traffics – Description and Keyword Meta Tags

Most of my blog traffics are from Google Search Engine. Google traffics make over half of my weblog hits. Do you know why your blogs are not being indexed or referred by Google Search Engine? Because, … TADA!!, you get it? NO? Okay, here.

You need a definition or description and keywords for your blog, called “Meta tags.”

Alright, here we go.

Look up. This is my blog’s description. Usually, if a surfer searches google and my blog main page (“http://ragingspirit.blogspot.com“)pops out, it’ll say:

YEAH! Top 1 of 1,350,000 search results.
And, below my blog link, it reads my site’s description.

So what happens without the “description meta tag”? Well, Google only displays your links. That’s it. However, adding site’s description might gives searcher a visit to your site. If without site’s definition, I won’t give a shit clicking, because I am afraid the contents are ewwy ( XXX ).

OK. More importantly, the “keyword meta tag” is what gets google’s attentions.

I know it is long. But it helps, and it is okay to do so (I remember I got this list from Google Keyword Helper, I guess).

Yes, put it under blog’s title section of head section. Description tag comes first, but it doesn’t matter though.

One more, choose interesting keyword for your post topic (but avoid cliche though).

For example: “School Uniform Dress Code – Classical Argument Essay”

One more, after you post new content, do not forget to ping your weblog so that “some readers” know that your blog is updated. I am using blogflux’s pinger services.

All in all, best of luck. And, it won’t happen in one day, one week, or whatever. It takes time.

KILLING SPREE!
Yes Yes I got another “A” (oh yes, oh yes, oh yes) in my English class.

I did my research presentation in class a moment ago. It went, umm, pretty bad, I guess. Although I took Public Speaking class last summer, my hands are still shaking. SO COOL, right?

Anyway, let gone be by gone; finals are approaching. HEHE I guess in less than three more weeks, I’ll be home, Chba Om Pav, Khan Meanchey, Phnom Penh (yes yes). LOL
