The Final Hour

Quite busy with final papers and exams lately, I only wish to share my study melody.

!!!!!!!

I’m feeling so great for my weekend. LOL
I think I got a lot of things off my to-do-list during last weekend.

On Friday, I went to the International Student Office to get my I-20, requested transcripts, and sent some documents to a person in Long Beach. And, then I went to Concert etc, (mentioned in last post).

On Saturday, I couldn’t believe, first time in my life, I was abandoned at home alone without knowing where all my friends (apartment mates) and sister had gone. OMG! I was doing something on the PC in my room. I heard all chatters and laughters and such noise from the living room. A moment later, without notice, there was just silence. I looked out to the living room (my room’s door was open) and there was nobody except me in the house. And guess what? THEY WERE GONE SHOPPING, without asking me to go or even telling me where they’re going. It was like they totally forgot my presence. LOL 5 of them, perfectly fit in one car, maybe decided to creep out of the house and leave me at home alone is the best choice.

I felt like I’m a monster or a black sheep in the family. HAHHA I was not mad at all. Normally, I would refuse to go shopping. But, it’s really weird when, suddenly, people in your house are just all gone without notice.

After they were gone, I did some of my Physics extra credit works in which I have to type QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS of a particular chapter for my teacher(like he’s trying to publish his own solution manual or something). I typed all the questions. That, took me 3 hours, was just the partial works. Though, I warped it up just now after spending another 5 HOURS OF TYPING!! I sat from 4PM till 9PM today. LOL It’s roughly 54 Exercises + 15 Problems, the hardest part was to type the MATHEMATICS TAGS (PAINS IN THE ASS).

On Sunday, Rattana’s so-called Birthday Party. We had BBQ, Shrimp Balls, Beef Balls, Squid Fish Cake, BBQ Beef, and Honeydew and Watermelons. We played volleyball and some Khmer traditional games. And, and I got a bruise in my butt from playing the leaf-jerking game. Because my numbered opponent fell down in front of me as I was running toward her, yah I had to dodge her; I jumped over her and landed on my butt. Anyway, we bowled again. I really got my ass kicked last night – lowest in my team and cost my team’s victory LOL.

I got some pictures from the party.

AND, okay HEANG, WELCOME TO THE GROUP. LOL I guessed you were bored sometimes. I’m a quiet person – like this quote describes me: “A diplomat thinks twice before saying nothing..”
LOL SEE YOU NEXT TIME!

When One Door Closed, There Is Always Another Door Open. It’s Just You Take Too Long To Look At The Old Door!

To ’some Friends’ of mine: There’s no point in looking back or imagining to be back with your ex-lover, there is usually no U-TURNs in relationship. If you believe in what you’re doing, go for it. But, keep your eyes open for people who value you more than your ex. There is always a better person.

OK Blah blah blah..

Random Trivia:

What is the title of the song that contains this phrase- “Should’ve known better than to cheat a friend”?

Guess!

Then till next time.

Last Friday

Exams are over. I mean tiny tiny exams – not the finals. I did pretty good with Chemistry exam. I got 84 out of whatever-total-score-that-based-on-my-teacher’s-own-philosophy-scoring-system. Come on, he’s a Stanford University graduate. He knows what’s doing. His students can’t seem to get over a score of 90. Yepp I got 84 out of unknown total score, and my classmate who sat behind me said: “WOW That’s fucking high! You did study this time.” I was like: “Yah I did. I’m going to UCLA and I don’t want this class to screw me.” Every exam’s average test score is about 65-70.

Physics exam was OKAY. Hoping to get pass a B. LOL

Anyway, last night after reading/sleeping at Starbucks, I went to concert: the Russian Chamber Orchestra. This is the first orchestra concert I’ve gone. It was really cool, inspiring, and exhilarating. I really love when that Chinese-looking girl soloed. Violins are cool. LOL

After all, we paid $7 for entrance fee. And, they free served Chinese Food too. Really worth it; $7 for orchestra concert + free Chinese Food. LOL

Talking about music, I tend to like symphonies and orchestra more than anything. Here’s one of my favorite symphony.

No change, I can’t change, I can’t change, I can’t change,
but I’m here in my mold , I am here with my mold
And I’m a million different people from one day to the next
I can’t change my mold, no, no, no, no, no

I like listening to this one when I’m in shower. HAHA
And, it’s a study-mood-setter song for me.

Then, we watched the Harold and Kumar movie. R-RATED!

have fun!
